Ventures supports learning gains by covering the content areas and competencies found on the CASAS STEPS Listening and Reading tests, with listening and reading activities in every lesson that mirror questions found on the CASAS STEPS tests.

Digital Literacy Development

Digital literacy development is a critical part of Adult Education instruction. In order to succeed at school or in the workplace,  learners need soft skills in key areas, such as critical thinking, problem solving,  communication, and collaboration supported by the creative application of digital technologies.

 

A Digital Literacy strand with video lessons and online activities in the Digital Workbook teaches skills ranging from how to turn on a computer to using web-conferencing software, and using tools for online safety when searching the internet.
