Sarah Ellis

Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Senior Assessment Services Manager

Sarah Ellis is a seasoned expert in English language education, with a rich background spanning teaching, teacher training, assessment, and exam management. Based in Bologna, she currently serves as Senior Assessment Services Manager at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, where she plays a key role in supporting institutions and educators across Italy.

Sarah has extensive experience delivering CELTA and DELTA teacher training courses and has worked with educators at all stages of their professional journey. She is actively involved in the Cambridge Assessment English Teacher Support Programme, which provides high-quality resources, guidance, and professional development opportunities for teachers and academic leaders.

Her professional interests lie in assessment literacy, digital skills development, and innovative teaching practices. Sarah is passionate about empowering teachers to navigate the evolving landscape of English language education with confidence and competence.

With her deep understanding of both pedagogy and assessment, Sarah is a trusted voice in the field and a dedicated advocate for teacher growth and learner success.

Francesca Panozzo

Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Recognition Manager Italy 

Francesca Pannozzo has been leading the recognition strategy for Cambridge English qualifications in Italy since 2022. In her current role, she works closely with universities, employers, and educational authorities to ensure that Cambridge exams are widely acknowledged and valued across the country. Her efforts contribute to strengthening the credibility and visibility of Cambridge qualifications in both academic and professional contexts.

Prior to this, Francesca played a pivotal role in the development and promotion of Cambridge exams in Northeastern Italy. She collaborated extensively with schools, language centers, and regional institutions to expand access to Cambridge assessments and support educators in delivering high-quality English language education.

With a strong background in educational outreach and stakeholder engagement, Francesca brings a deep understanding of the Italian education landscape and a passion for empowering learners through internationally recognized qualifications.
