She holds a Master’s degree in TEFL and has been in ELT for over 15 years, working with students and teachers in different learning contexts and countries. Peter is Professional Learning and Development Manager for Cambridge University Press in the MENA region, and regularly speaks at ELT conferences and trains teachers internationally in both the public and private sectors. How to get the most from every moment of learning: Integrated Learning and Assessment
Mathew Ellman
9.05 - 9.50 UK Time
Providing evidence of progress and actionable feedback are the best ways to help learners succeed. These teaching skills are at the heart of integrated learning and assessment (ILA), Cambridge's approach to teaching and learning. In this session we'll explore what ILA is, how it can benefit you and your learners, and what you can do to start bringing it into your own classroom.
Making learning visible in the primary classroom
Donya Estafanous
9.55 – 10.40 UK Time
When learners feel that they are making progress, they are more engaged in their learning and more motivated to keep doing the work, even when it gets difficult. But how can you show them that they are learning? In this session, we'll look at practical ideas for making learning visible in the primary classroom as part of an integrated learning and assessment approach, with examples from Cambridge Primary Path and Power Up.

Going Beyond Correction: Enhancing Learning through Peer Feedback and Self-Assessment
Maria Stefanidou
10.45 - 11.30 UK Time
Providing learners with feedback is crucial in helping them to succeed. The most common type of feedback given by most teachers in most classrooms is corrective feedback. Although this type of feedback is important, it doesn't always actively engage learners in the learning process. In this webinar, we will look at how peer feedback and self-assessment procedures empower students to take ownership of their learning, turning the teen classroom into a dynamic, student-centered learning environment. We will explore practical strategies and feedback techniques as part of an integrated learning and assessment approach (ILA), with examples from Cambridge Think and Own it!.
How to personalise your lessons
Peter Lucantoni
11.30 - 12.15 UK Time
Students learn best and are most engaged when their lessons meet their interests, preferences and abilities. But how can you personalise learning without spending too long preparing your lessons? In this session, we’ll look at the benefits of personalisation, see some practical tips for making learning more personalised in your classroom, and find out how Cambridge tools can offer greater personalisation through our Cambridge One platform.
