Luísa Geão is Head of Regional Marketing for West Europe, Iberia and Italy at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, with over 20 years of experience in the English Language Teaching (ELT) sector. She began her career as an English teacher and has since worked across editorial, teacher training, sales, and marketing, in several countries and educational contexts.
Her experience across different roles has helped her understand how children learn English in different settings, and how teachers, materials, and exams can work together to support that journey. She cares deeply about learning and communication, and is always looking for practical ways to support teachers, students, and families as education continues to change.
Graham Seed is a Senior Research Manager at Cambridge University Press and Assessment, where he works on different projects relating to language learning and assessment. His current professional interests include operationalisation of the CEFR, mediation and multi-/plurilingualism in learning and assessment contexts. He holds an MA in Language Testing from Lancaster University, DELTA and CELTA, and previously taught EFL in Bosnia, Russia and the UK. He is currently also the Secretariat Manager of ALTE – the Association of Language Testers in Europe.

Gemma Fernández is an Area Sales Manager at Cambridge University Press & Assessment in Spain, with nearly 30 years of experience in the English Language Teaching (ELT) sector. She began her career as an English teacher and prepared learners for Cambridge examinations, an experience which gave her deep insight into the value of the exam journey beyond the certificates themselves. A strong advocate of the benefits of Cambridge English Qualifications, she joined Cambridge University Press in 2009 as an ELT Sales Consultant. In both her previous and current roles, close collaboration with teachers, school leaders and families has remained a central and essential part of her work.

Charles Stewart is Professional Learning and Development Specialist at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, and is based in Prague. Charles began his ELT journey in 2011 and he has extensive experience in delivering training sessions to teachers in countries across Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. Additionally, he is enrolled in an MA programme in Professional Development for Language Education. Charles has particular interest in supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and Technology-based Learning. He brings his vast classroom experience into each training session that he leads.

Daryna is an education professional with over 14 years of experience working with Cambridge, specialising in the implementation of international assessment and qualification projects. She has collaborated closely with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on national initiatives and has extensive experience supporting Authorised Exam Centres and preparation centres delivering Cambridge English Qualifications. Daryna also works with official distribution partners, contributing to strategic partnerships and market development across the region. She holds a Master’s Degree in English Language Philology and a Diploma in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

She applies research insights into products and develops capabilities that ultimately help English language learners and teachers have an effective and enjoyable learning experience. She has a background in English Language Teaching with over a decade of teaching and research experience from Hungary, Finland and the UK. Her current work focuses on using Generative AI tools in the classroom and evidence-based approaches to creating neuroinclusive learning environments.

He has trained teachers and spoken at conferences in various countries and has taught in different contexts for over 15 years in the Czech Republic, Jordan, Libya, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. Ben has worked as a Cambridge CELTA Main Course Tutor, is DELTA-qualified, and is currently studying trainer development as part of his MA in Professional Development for Language Education.
