First steps in English

Building confidence and excitement around English

Pre A1 Starters Digital is the first of our digital Cambridge English Qualifications for young learners, set in an underwater world. In this world, the young explorers work their way along a map across a giant turtle, through tasks that introduce everyday written and spoken English. The language is presented in contexts such as stories, dialogue, pictures, posters and online messages, giving learners a range of familiar and interactive ways to demonstrate their skills.

Putting young learners in control

A1 Movers Digital is the second of our digital Cambridge English Qualifications for young learners, set on a dinosaur island. On this island, the young explorers work their way along a map across a giant dinosaur, progressing to simple conversational English. Learners demonstrate their skills through interactive tasks such as creating pictures, taking notes, responding to dialogue and online messages, matching words to pictures and filling gaps in sentences.
